2013 finalists / Minae Kim

Kim’s work explores and unearths invisible boundaries through the creation of structures which appear as if they support, or are in dialogue with, an architectural location. Feigning to maintain an in-between space, they reflect actual space by fitting into overlooked gaps, and then clearly articulate a [fake] function. Kim lives and works in London.
