2013 finalists / Nika Neelova (Winner!)

Neelova explores history through the use of architectural fragments which embody physical residues of the past.  She incorporates these fragments into compelling installations capturing the moment when they have outlived their history and context and exist only to address notions of displacement, and to enforce a sense of anachronism. Neelova lives and works in London.
